The kite was delivered to us at Artevento, Cervia.
A lightweight spar set was prepared in London and fitted perfectly on 24th April at Cervia.
Cervia 2026 Monday 27th April.
It was a good flight of the five Rokkakus... Fliers were Ashley, Lynn, Sébastien, Philippe and a person who turned up for Rev tuition by Sébastien!
Cervia 2026, Saturday 25th April.
The fifth 3m Rokkaku by Jørgen Møller Hansen that was gifted to the collection in 2025 was the first to be flown at Cervia in 2026, the same as in 2025. Conditions were just about perfect.
The full set were flown on 27th April 2026.

Blackheath, 15th June 2025
An inaugural flight of the fifth 3m Rokkaku on Blackheath.
Windspeeds on Blackheath since early May have been consistently high.
Today there was a variable westerly breeze, staying very light for minutes on end and then building up in very sustained gusts.
The passing thermals are a regular feature of wind patterns on Blackheath in June!
The horizontal spars were somewhat stressed!
Cervia 2025, Jørgen Møller Hansen kites 30th April
The 3m Rokkakus were flown together again.

The five 1991 Rokkakus by Jørgen Møller Hansen have come together and were flown for the first time today.
All five kites have the same lightweight wind frames made out of spiral wound carbon from Revolution, SLE spines and four wrap horizontals.

First day and the fifth Rokkaku from 1991 was delivered from Rudi Schwenger by Philippe. The new frame fitted perfectly and a short flight followed.
