The team arrived, mostly on Friday afternoon to find a very high wind situation which meant that there was no real prospect of flying kites.

The evenings 'on field' bread and soup kitchen kindly provided by Frances Anderson and supplemented by others got underway and then the wind blown sea water approached and the beach had to be evacuated.

Some of the group reconvened by the Lifeboat Station for ice cream and in special memory of Jørgen Møller Hansen some "Gammel Dansk"!

There were showers on Saturday morning but eventually the first kite up was Four Diamonds 1993 quickly followed by a coordinated set of RSS sails.

The idea was quite simple in concept but maybe not trivial in practice, just fly the JMH kites and the Revs in the same sky space!

We had the opportunity to select the space on the flying field that seemed most appropriate and get the sand anchors placed accordingly.

The initial triangular placement worked quite well on Saturday but was expanded on Sunday morning to take account of the changed wind direction, from the south rather than the west, and giving some more space between the kites.
