We arrived on site just after 9:00am and laid a backup rope for the ground anchor point. The Jørgen Møller Hansen kite Eight Diamonds 1993 was in the air by 10:00am and remained there for the rest of the day mostly under very close scrutiny.

The re-framed kite was assembled and walked out to the anchor point where the bridle lines were un-looped and attached.

At the edge of the wind window there is not too much pressure on the bridle lines, just enough to support the kite with lines 'almost' tight!

The persex Edo style 'comb' broke on the centre line when the lines were almost completely set. It was decided that, although not perfect, it was safe to fly the kite.

The kite was moved into the centre of the wind window and released.

Eventually a chair was moved to the stake point, in the meantime a couple of RSS sails were set up to fly alongside the JMH kite.
